Q: can a regular cell battery be used for the samsung nexus?
It is a samsung Nexus for XM radio.
A: I would not take the chance of damaging your radio, you can search newegg.com and try to find the battery for your device,it would be cheaper than trying to purchase it from the manufacturer. But of course, it is better to be safe and purchase the battery made for your device. There are some corners that can not be cut.
Q: Does anyone know if I remove the battery on a Samsung sgh-a737 cell phone, will it wipe out my contacts?
I know some cell phones, when you remove the battery...it deletes pictures, contacts, videos, etc. I am just curious about this phone. I have looked under the Samsung site and cannot find any info on this. Just curious, Thanks!
A: definitely not, in fact you should pull your batter once a week for a soft reset just so the phone doesnt freeze up (like a computer)
Q: How do you take the battery out of a Samsung SPH-m500 cell phone?
A: On the back of the phone right above where the Samsung stamp is press the batery cover downward, not likle mash it down but more like slide it down and off. Then just grab the edge of the battery and pull it out.

Okay, So I have a Samsung cell phone and from what I heard you can actually enter some type of code that increases your battery life when it's low? Is this just some lame rumor, if not, does anyone have that code?

A: I had and still have the same problem, i went back to the store and they even got me a new battery and it still doesn't stay charged. I hate it. My only solution would be to save and get a new phone.

Q: Why does my Samsung Beat cell phone power off on its own?
I have had two Samsung Beat cell phones through t-mobile. For no reason at all, the first cell phone started to power off on its own, usually mid conversation. I called t-mobile and they sent me a new Samsung Beat. It worked fine for about two weeks then it started to power off too! (By the way, the battery is fully charged.) Has anyone had or heard of this problem with this particular model? Thanks.
A: it's a common problem, there is a "glitch" in the firmware, the phone can be flashed if you have the software to do it, but you'll need to hunt around online for both the flashing program and the updated firmware

A: um.. most phones mostly need to be charged for like a night for the first use. then you should wait until the phone is about to die and then charge it until it says charge complete (approx 3 hrs). Then repeat. This is supposed to train your battery life to be long.
