Q: How do you get ringtones for the Samsung Ace?
I just bought the samsung ace from sprint a couple days ago it has windows mobile and is really complicated. I can download songs to the windows media player easily but can't get ringtones off the internet even.

A: Sprint phones are the most complicated of the bunch .I have one and you cant just download the ringtone directly from the net. I ve tried that, and im pretty tech savy, and even went as far as uploading the file to my personal web server, and it still didn't work. My LG Muziq didnt recognize the mp3 ringtone file when i downloaded it. Ventones is a free ringtone site that i found, that actually worked and is totally free,. You can use an mp3 file to make a ringtone and then they send you a link with a special descriptor file, and it worked like a charm. They have an uploaded and a ringtone maker. I dont have any personal experience with your phone, but its worth a try Email me if you need assistance

Q: How can I send pics from my Samsung Ace to other phones, and not just emails ?
I have a Samsung Ace. It allows me to send pictures to emails, but not phone numbers. Is there any way I could send to phone numbers and not just emails, because I send pics a lot and it's freakin annoying not being able to send pics to my friends' phones !

A: To send pictures to your friends numbers you'll need to have activated on your phone. To activate it you'll need to call your carrier and they will do it for you or they will send you the settings via text message and you'll need to save them on your phone!

Q: Should I get the Blackberry curve or Samsung Ace from sprint?
i dont really like the ball on the curve but every review says its better than the ace. im a teenager that likes to text but i want a good phone.

A: I suggest the Blackberry Curve. You just have to look past the trackball.

I bought the samsung ace because i was told that i can activate it without paying for espn features. When i went to activate they put me through the programming process and the lady gave me the wrong msid number so it didnt work. We had already hung up thinkin it was gonna work. I called again and now they are telling me i cant even use this phone at all with sprint unless i pay for espn features. Is this true? I dont remeber the program code she gave me and i know the msid now. When i give them my esn number they say it is invalid. Please Help!

A: i bet espn isnt free.

Q: Is there a way to send MMS with my Samsung ACE?
i really want to send pics from my ACE but it always sends it as a email rather than pic messaging with MMS. is there a way sprint can maybe activate it or is the ACE just uncapable of sending MMS.. please & thank youu

A: Right now, Sprint has something against Windows Mobile phones and MMS... They have said that they figured business users (people that use Windows Mobile devices) wouldn't have a need for it, so they never implemented it. They do have some workaround programs, google sMMS, but that's not truly what you're lookin for. Sprint has stated that they are working on some kinda picture mail for windows mobile devices after the demand they seem to be getting, but I wouldn't hold my breath knowing Sprint.

Q: Free ringtone websites for samsung ace?
Recently got the samsung ace and when i tried downloading some ringtones from Myxer.com and FunForMobile.com, it was unable to download. Does anyone know other websites that offers free ringtones that will work for my phone? Please Help!

A: ventones.com It's what I recommend to get free ringtones That site always works for me And it's totally safe and free It's a great site

Q: samsung ace, htc touch, or moto q 9c all by sprint?
im undecided between the 3 of them. which one do you think is the best one?

A: if Price is not a concern you could consider the touch (however, I have read reviews where the screen has froze and other various bugs has been reported). Personally, I'd stay away from a touch phone from Sprint for now since this is their first time making it. Maybe when it comes out with a 2nd Generation, I'd think about it. Moto Q 9C and Ace is similar phones in terms of capabilities. (No GPS on ACE). I'd go with the Ace since it's slimmer and the key pad is easier to use. Most people end up buying a slim battery for another 20-30 bucks. You end up paying similar on both phones.

Q: Sprint Moto Q 9c or Samsung Ace?
The bad news. The new Samsung Ace that came out today is $199. The good news, the Moto Q 9c is only $99 now. Which should I get?! I don't think there will be very many Ace owners, so if you own the Q 9c give me an argument. The size is very important to me. I guess I will have to hold one in my hands tomorrow to really tell, but I'm not a very big person (5'8" 135 lbs) and need to be able to comfortably carry the phone in a pocket, not on a belt clip. Besides the size of the Samsung Ace, what else does it have that the Q 9c doesn't? Thanks.

A: I was in the same situation, and I just purchased the Moto Q 9c because I found no reason to spend twice as much on the Samsung Ace. The Ace's biggest selling point is that it can roam on GSM networks when you are out of the country. I, however, do not travel enough to justify the cost. Plus, it is probably just as cost effective for me to buy a cheap pay as you go phone while I am abroad. The Moto Q also has a GPS, which is not listed (by Sprint) as a feature of the Samsung Ace. One downside to the Moto Q: I'm purchasing the slim battery for $20 online because I want the phone to be slimmer than it is. Sprint ships the extended battery, which gets amazing life, but sticks out.

Q: Should I get a Samsung Ace or a Blackberry 8300 Curve?
im debating which phone to get, thoughts and reasons? i'm a 20 year old college student so the ratings from pcworld dont mean much to me http://www.pcworld.com/article/145095/samsung_ace_sphi325_pda_phone.html http://www.pcworld.com/article/131493/blackberry_curve_8300.html

A: id get the blackberry :)

Q: Can I hook up a reported lost/stolen phone to my Bell plan? (samsung Ace)?
Hello everyone! I recently bought a Samsung Ace from one of my friends. Well, not so much anymore. I heard that you cannot hook up blacklisted phones because it come up on the computer. So I called Bell to see if my newly bought phone was alright to use...and it isn't. They said there's not really anyway to hook it up. Is there a way to get around it? I do not feel like buying another phone! I know the lady at my local bell store fairly well...can she hook it up? I'm not asking if you guys THINK she will. I'm asking if shes actually somehow ABLE to even though its on the list. Tried to get my money back from the guy but that's out of the question now. Some help please :(

A: I think you are probably out of luck. Most phone providers use electronic serial numbers.... so if someone loses a phone, or it gets stolen, the new 'owner' cannot use it. It becomes a theft deterrent (although we all know it does not stop thieves a lot of the time.) It also keeps people who have defaulted on their contracts from getting the same phone activated under another name.

Q: Wut kind of memory card do i buy for my samsung ace (cell phone)?

A: microSD

Q: Which phone is better: Palm Centro, Moto Q, Samsung ace, or the LG rumor?
best for like media, internet browser, texting and all that stuff

A: the rumor. its light, appealing, and it usually never losses service

Q: which sprint phone is better; lg lotus, samsung ace, or moto q?
im getting a new phone and idk which one to choose, i cant pick between these 3

A: The LG Lotus is actually very highly rated as a new phone on Sprint's network... I would check into that phone, even though its not very cute. Either that or the Moto Q, but I don't know, because personally, the Moto Q is too big for my tastes.
