A: my daughter gave me one this christmas. screen i big enough for me to see clearly. i can set font size anytime! camera on it works great and can email them to others! ring tone i louder than my t-mobile siemens phone! i am having fun with it. the only drawback i can see is that it does not have a "speaker phone" button, so i can not put the phone down and talk.....:-} once and a while you may lose a signal depending where u r.....

After a five-week nightmare with an LG shine*, I've learned to do my research! It's really, really tough to pick a phone to commit to for two years without experiencing it for a while, so I ask you, the samsung users! I do not use a landline, so cell phone reliability is huge for me. I'm sorely tempted by the samsung phones' . . . operating systems? Firmware? Whatever it is that allows data to transfer, easy navigation, programs and games to install, etc. It appears to do everything LG can't or won't. I have read that the volume fluctuates, and this gives me pause. If I can't hear people it isn't a good phone! Has this issue cropped up for you, and how bad is it? Would you still use a samsung for your primary phone everywhere you go? Thanks for your help. I'm specifically considering the samsung rugby, the a737, and the blackjack II, but they look like they all have the same volume issue. I'm fairly uncertain which of those three I want, but I have to clear samsung as okay first! The a737 is free, the rugby is $100 and durable, and the blackjack is . . . smart, apparently? I do a lot of nerdy things with my phones, but I don't get data packages, so web connectivity isn't all that important unless the phone comes with wifi, which would be awesome. As an alternative, the pantech duo looks like an option. My top requirements are: -reception everywhere, all the time -USB connectivity for easy data transfer -being able to download and install from a PC. Who knew some phones couldn't do that?! Paying double for programs because I have to install them directly to my phone via att media is silly. -can survive my pocket. Hi, I just got a Samsung SGH-a737 cell phone. Can somebody please walk me through how to get a song and a picture off my micro sd card and into the phone? The phone has a micro sd port and I already have all the files I want on the card. I just don't know where to find them in the phone menus. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

A: got to look for anything like tools ect. Look for something that says file storage, card, memory card, storage, SD card etc...

A: I have owned both and I can honestly say that Nokia makes better phones, I have a Samsung right now, and even though it works for the most part, I've had a few problems with it at one time or another. Nokia never gave me trouble.

A: I've been looking for the same. The glossy finish needs to be protected, not just from the elements but from fingerprints! One thing I plan to do is goto the mall where they have those little lslands that sell cell phone accessories and cases. The person working should have a pretty good idea of which cases might fit. I read somewhere that the T439 has similar size and spec of something in the 500 series but I do not remember the model. Another thing I plan to try if this does not work is goto flea market where they sell cell phone accessories and cases. Again, the person working should have a pretty good idea of what will fit and what won't. They can usually nail something down that might work. In the SF Bay Area the De Anza flea markets are good - held on 1st Sat of each month. Chabot College flea market is on 3rd Sat of each month and San Jose flea market is good too, but I haven't been there in 9 years.

A: When you purchase a cell phone without a plan you would be forced to buy it out right, meaning that you could be paying a couple hundred more per phone. If your business needs the phones why not get them with a plan to save thousands of dollars in the long run? The phones won't do you any good without a plan anyways.
