Q: How do you get text messages to be displayed on the front display on LG cell phones?
I use a LG VX8300 and I did this once by accident and haven't found out how to do it again. Just wondering if anyone can help me out with this.

Doesn't seem that my new Scoop does unlike an old Motorola I had.
What Motorola is economical and beeps to let you know if you missed a call?
I need to clarify this... I need an beep that alerts me to missed calls. Currently, to find out if I have missed any calls, I have to check the screen, but it doesn't make any sound to let me know.
My old Motorola would display a missed call onscreen and it would also beep at specified intervals. That's what I want my LG Scoop to do.

Q: What do you know about the brand LG for cell phones?
I like the look of their phones alot but i don't wanna end up with a really bad phone and end up regretting it.
A: I have an LG phone and it has been great. I have dropped it, left it in the refrigerator, the dog has chewed it, my son plays with it and it still works like a pro. I didn't pay an arm and a leg for it either. I have had less problems with this phone than with other expensive phones that I have purchased.
Q: are LG cell phones better than motorollas in quality and reception?
I want to know what you think.
A: I think it's all depends on how the phone is made. I had an LG VX7000 & had no problems at all with reception, quality. I upgraded to a Motorola V3m Razr and I have the same great reception, etc. My daughter had an LG VX6100 and upgraded to an LG Chocolate and both phones were absolutely great!
Now someone at my work upgraded from a Nokia to an LG (don't know the model) but it was a flip phone and very cheap and it got crappy reception out where he lived and inside the shop we work in, he ended up switching back to his Nokia as it got the reception he needed.
My mother has a Samsung flip phone and it get's great reception as well.
Again, it depends on the phone, how cheaply it may have been made, etc. In other words, if it's made cheaply then it more than likely won't work as well. Just my experiences and what I've seen with other peoples experiences as well.

Q: What is the best LG cell phone for Verizon?
I am to upgrade my phone with Verizon now. I had a RAZRV3 but didn't like it. After reading several reviews, I've come to my senses that maybe LG phones were better. But I went to see the LGVX9900 on display but I don't need so much stuff. I only check my emails from time to time and need sufficient memory space for my phone numbers. I want a phone better than a Razr (since it should be a promotion), which had terrible battery life which was quite annoying. I was looking at LGVX8600 or VX8700, but both also seem to have some faults. Any suggestions on what would be a slim phone, that has no visible antenna, that has long battery life, and it a good quality phone? If there are others besides LGs that are recommended, I'd also like to consider that. Price is not a problem. Thanks!
A: Every phone is going to have some faults. Currently I use the LGVX8600 and I love it - it is the perfect phone for my needs and wants. But everyone is going to have a different phone that is right for them. As an example, I love that my phone has a sleek keypad that seems to meld all the numbers together, some other people have complained profusely about that feature.
Honestly, I suggest you take advantage of the 15-30 days to try out each phone you might be interested in... just get a phone you might like, and if it disappoints you, you have that time frame to return it and try something different without penalty. That way you get first hand experience, since nobody can really say what the best phone is due to individual preference.

A: Certain games work with certain phones. I have an LG phone and it doesnt allow games. You can always call the LG comstumer service phone number found on the website.

A: You can send them via multimedia.
Or, if the phone is nearby then you can send it via Bluetooth or via Inferad!
And if you want to send it to a computer you can use a cable.

I have a contract with AT&T and I want to upgrade my cell phone. Verizon Wireless has its new Lg Glyde and supposedly Verizon's cell phones don't take sim cards. Are there any other phones out there similar to the LG Glyde??

Q: Is there a cable that I can use to pull pictures off of my LG cell phone onto a PC?
I have a very common LG CU400 cell and want to be able to pull some of the pictures that I have taken on the phone off into a printing kiosk, or onto a PC - I can't seem to find anything that fits this description. Does anybody out there know of such a cable? I have found "LG Data USB Cables" but am not sure if it will allow me to pull pictures onto my PC. Thanks!
