Q: What are some cheap cell phone plans other than virgin mobile?
My dad will only let me get a virgin mobile phone because it's cheap. But the reason I don't want a virgin mobile is because I don't like the phones they have !
I want like a razor or something !
I have heard of Tracfone before but my dad thinks those are crap.. even though I don't think so !!
Oh, and it has to be like 15 dollars a month of less.
That's my virgin mobile plan now.
A: You can get a razr with the gophone plan, but you have to buy the phone and either pay $.25 per minute, or $.10 per minute and $1 a day.
Net10 is a good prepaid plan because it's only $10 a minute.
Q: Cheap cell phone plans?
I need a cell phone, but do NOT want a tracphone or a pay as you go. Though... all the lowest 1 person plans I see are $40 or more, and have a two year contract, which I would rather not have. Though, I may not have much of a choice there. Any other thoughts? Know of any cheap plans or services?

Q: Cheap Cell phone plans for families?
My mother and I have a Pay as you Go Verizon cell phones, we pay $60 for the 2 phones, with very limited texting. My dad has a tracfone. For a family of 5, we want a cheap plan(I mean my parents want under $100). We like to text, so unlimited texting.
btw, Alltel isnt in our area(Syracus, NY area).....
Are there any good plans??
well, my parents are willing to pay over $100, right now we're looking at a plan for $150
A: I suggest getting what me and my family have:
The T-Mobile FamilyTime Basic plan.
It Includes:
700 whenever minutes per month.
Unlimited night and weekend minutes.
Unlimited mobile to mobile minutes.
You can have it so that when someone calls you, instead of hearing that same old ring, they'll hear the song of your choice.
You can get the internet on your phone, with unlimited access to ringtones, wallpapers, videos, and games.
And for an extra 5$ a month you get unlimited texting.
The plan with unlimited texting and everything listed above
is about 65-70 dollars per month.
Send me an email if theres anything else you want
to know about this service.

Q: Cheap cell phone plan for one person?
I'm currently on my parents' cell phone plan, but I'm going to get my own pretty soon. I rarely ever talk on the phone, and I don't need text messaging. I don't really want a plan where you pay for more minutes (you know, the cards). What's the cheapest plan out there?
A: Depending on what your zip code is you can get a plan for as low as 19.99 for 300 minutes. Without your zip code it is difficult for me to find the best price in plan for you.
You can get free phones with a new two year contract. If you would like my help, email me your zip code and I can see what would be best for your area, find the cheapest plan through the major providers.

I don't have $ to pay 40 or 80 dollars per month for a cell phone that I would use for emergency purposes and just between my husband and I for traveling and such. Q: Cheap Cell Phone Plans?? (like 10-20$)?
I need a cell phone plan and i heard that bell and telus have good plans, but i think that they are gonna start charging for received texts and i plan on texting alot. rogers looks good, but i can find a plan for my price range. i would like texting(125/month), and still be able to go on windows live messaging. thats all i really want. could i take a pay and go phone and add the 15$ bundle? it has unlimited internet but does that count as im's too? or is that like $0.05/instant message? thanks so much. im soo confused by all this.
im from canada.
A: yes, it will be 5 cents per instant message as well. I recomend a go phone they are about twenty dollars to purchase and the minutes/texts are very cheap on them if you are not constantly texting or talking on your phone.
hope this helps.
Q: Cheap Cell Phone Plans - Guide To Save Money On Cell Phone Plans & Services?
A: • If you use the Internet browser on your cell or send many text messages, the addition of a browser or text package is a great way to limit your monthly usage of these features while controlling the cost.
• Similarly, long distance, roaming, data services, picture / video messaging and the basic caller ID / voicemail services can be bought in combination with one another.
• Choose services that are important to you & sort the others so you're consciously setting usage limits each month. For example, if you send 250 pay-per-use text messages per month, you may want to add a 200-message package, to control your spending as well as reduce the base cost of each message.
• Long distance will always be pricey on cellular networks, so if you have need for it, add a package or switch to your home phone on international calls.
• Over-usage and roaming are the most expensive aspects for a cell phone. Keep an eye on minute usage and upgrade your price plans based on good deals. Often, promotional price plans will surface around the holidays and in the first quarter of the year, so if you can find one that suits your needs, don't delay in switching over.
