Q: What are some good low cost cell phone plans?
"Basic plans will have 400minutes anytime and unlimited night and weekends for less than $30". Is that true, somebody else said it and I am quoting them. Where is there a basic plan for around $30/mo? I found a cell phone plan for $28/mo but I think the coverage is only in my city, I don't like the sound of that.

A: 29.99 plans generally have NO minutes to use. I think they ususlly have 100 minutes or something like that. only if you rarely use a phone or have one simply to use in case of emergency do you get those plans. I have spring fair and flexble for 39.99/month. 400 minutes, nights/weekends free and bights start at 7pm, whereas everyone else starts at 9pm. if you manage to go over your minutes for the month, sprint adds an additional 50 minutes for 5 bucks to save you from overage fees. really nice plan. cingular with their rollover plan is okay too, but I say go with sprint. tmobile has a monthly plan of 39.99 for 1000minutes a month. I believe that is only for local area only though. my sprint plan is nationwide.

Q: Are there any good cell phone plans for people needing to call overseas a lot?
I'm looking into getting rid of my land line, because the only reason I have it is to call my Mom who lives in England. Are there any good cell phone plans someone could recommend that have good/ decent long distance available? thanks!

A: There is no good plan for any US carrier to call oversea. They are usually charged at the double rate (per minute charge plus your mintues if you are calling at day time). With Verizon to call England per minutes charges are 40 cents or something crazy like that. If you want to get rid of your landline try using the phonecard at the free minutes time. Atleast that way you won't burn your daytime mintues and get the best phone card rates.

Q: Help on the best prepaid cell phone and plans?
What company has the best prepaid cell phone and plans, I am looking for very little usage (minutes-maybe 2 hours a month), text messaging and maybe being able to download my ring tones. I have had the normal cell phone plan but as soon as you change one thing on your plan they just keep extending the contract..No thank you.

A: I just got back from the mall and was looking for the same thing, alot of these places are rip offs. I went to t mobile they had plans no contract, no credit check no cancellation fees. One was 29.99 with 300 minutes and free weekends or 39.99 for 600 minutes with free nights AND weekends. And I got a nice flip phone that had all the features. Definitely go there.

Q: What is the best pre paid cell phone? Who has the best plans?
I want to know who has the best cell phone plans and coverage. Any ideas?

A: www.alltel u.com they got lots of prepaid plans i personally like the pay per day plan u get unlimited nights and weekends free textin fav numba calling free mobile 2 mobile they will take 1.25 out of ur account everyday if u want all 4 unlimited feature just buy a 30 dollar prepaid card of a 15 dolla one ..............>>>>vote me the best answer if u like the websitee<<<<<<<<<

Q: Which companies offer cell phone plans with free calls between 2 lines in Florida? Possibly prepaid?
I am looking for a good and affordable cell phone plan that my husband and I can use in which we can call each other for free (taking no minutes). We live in central Florida. It's just basically for us to communicate. We don't call anybody else in cell phones, so we don't need many minutes to call other people from the cell phone plan.

A: I think all cell phone companies have family plans that have unlimited minutes for family members any time of day. I have t-mobile and me and my wife and my son have 900 minutes to share (peak) and unlimited calls between the 3 of us and free nights (after 9pm) and weekends for $69 plus $10 (to add the 3rd phone) I think you for you it would be $59 for 500 minutes peak (I think) and unlimited calls between you and your hubby. (and I think that included the phones for free with a one year contract.. Cingular does 2 years)

Q: Can anyone explain to me how Israel cell phone plans work?
Does anyone know the rates for Cellcom and Orange in Israel and to America and for texting? Also, do their cell phones plans work the same way as in America with prepaying for a set amount of minutes?

A: I am looking for silimar information, I have found it is best to post this kind of question in the Israel section. Sorry I dont have a real answer

Q: Is there a security deposit on cell phone plans?
I want to invest in a cell phone. What would be the cheapest plan?

A: depends on your credit on if you'd need a security deposit. but i've had every single cell phone provider, and t mobile is by far the best & the cheapest. they have awesome plans, great service, great phones, and i've never had a dropped call EVER. also, they have a new thing called flex pay if you don't have good credit, and its just like a normal plan, but u pay your bill one month in advance (so the only thing you'd hafta pay for at the store is ur 1st month bill and the phone..no deposit). Your bill is the exact same every month, and if you run outa minutes, you just buy a pre paid card. I have it and I love it cuz u get no surprise bills every month, and u don't hafta worry about going over your minutes. I hope that helped & if you have any other questions, feel free to email me!

Q: What are good cell phone plans?
I am going to buy a Razr2 W385 and it is going to be my first cell phone. I get the cell phone for free in a plan right? Or does it depend on the plan? I want a good cell phone plan that would able me to get the cell phone (Razr2 W385) for free. I need suggestions on a good cell phone plan.

A: At the moment, I do not think any carrier offer this phone as part of their service. That means you'll need to get this phone as an unlocked phone and then put the sim card in to use it. The companies using sim cards are t-mobile and at&t. You will need to open a new service from one of those companies and then put your sim card into the phone. I'd suggest you look at the phones t-mobile or at&t offer because they do give huge discounts to new customers. They may not have the phone you like but there are similar phones, such as w490 or V8 thats being offered by T-mobile. Good luck.

Q: international cell phone plans or phone cards?
I will not have access to a phone in a while. I have used penny talk card to talk with my boyfriend over seas and the sound is awful. He calls on his cell phone and the sound is great. I am looking for good phone cards and cell phone plans that would allow us to call a few times a week without taking all of our money. Quality of sound is important. Thanks in advance.

A: I use international calling cards to call China from Canada. Most of time the connections are good, once a time it is not so good. So I usually buy 2 different calling cards. The cheaper one I use most of time. The expensive one I use it when the cheaper one doesn't work well. I buy international calling cards from below link. I like their price comparison service. http://www.eecalling.com

Q: what are some good cell phone plans out there?
I have 2 cell phones now on the cricket plan. I pay $112 a month, and it is unlimited minutes, text, and long distance. I want to keep my phone number, but i want to get more phones for two more of my kids. Can anyone suggest a good plan, with 4 phones, that will allow me to keep my existing phone number?

A: I have two cell phones and the monthly fee is killing me. I am going to TracFone, I don't think you can keep your old number. With AT&T it's $93 for my two phones and I think it is $9.99 to add a line. Oh! I'm switching to Vonage too.

Q: Any really cheap cell phone plans for only two people to contact one another?
Is there any such thing as an ultra-cheap cell phone plan where just two or maybe three or whatever people can only contact one another?

A: yep i'm not sure where you live but in Canada we call it ten4 and in the U.S they call it chirp it cost a buck a day to talk on it all day as much as you want to anyone that has chirp or ten4

Q: Are there any cheap cell phone plans for 1 year contacts?
I would only use my cell phone for one year so I can't do a 2 year plan. Does Altel do a 1 year plan?

A: Hi Blair Your best bet is T-Mobile or ATT, both companys offer post paid plans without signing a contract if you bring in your own phone Purchase a cheap unlocked GSM phone, then go to the ATT or T-Mobile and pick the plan that suits you best. You will have all the benifits as someone that signs a 2 year contract T-Mobiles is called flex pay, ATT is the sim only option

Q: What are the lowest cost cell phone plans for daytime use (please read details)?
For the next month or two, I'll need to use a cell phone a lot during weekdays and early evenings. Mostly within a midwestern area, but I also need to be able to call both the East and West Coast without incurring roaming charges. After these next two months, I might hardly need the cell phone at all, so I don't want to commit to a long-term plan. I only need the phone for calls, won't need texting and so on. It could be a monthly plan or pay as you go. Cricket and Revol have good plans, but they don't have the coverage I need. I really don't want to get stuck paying big money for what is a temporary need. Any recommendations? The whole point is that I won't have access to a land line phone. Yes, there are workable plans out there. I'm just hoping to avoid having to do all the research myself.

A: T-mobile has nationwide, you can talk to anyone in the US for normal rates and you could get Fave 5 if youre just gonna be talking to the same few people. also, AT&T haas the nationwide too but they dont have fave 5. if you go to tmobile.com theres a little thing at the bottom right corner where you can select the amout of minutes and what type of plan

Q: Any cell phone plans that are only txt?
Are there any cell phone plans that consist only of txt. I dont need to talk or surf the internet just want to txt message. Are there any plans like that? If so are there any recommendations?

A: yes, with att/tmobile you can buy the prepaid minutes and instead ot talking you can use them for texting only. check out http://cellphonesmarket.com/showthread.php?t=132 , you might like it

Q: Is there any known company in Canada that sells cell phone plans without the cell phone?

A: Telus,Sprint, I have used them both with my own cell phone.
