Q: Blackberry Bold.....?
Is Tmobile going to have the Blackberry Bold? and if they are going to have it, when is it coming out? I really want it before christmas. Which do you prefer, the blackberry bold or the blackberry storm? I think i prefer the bold but what do you think? Cingular has the bold? nevermind..cingular is at&t...and i have tmobile and i dont want to switch

A: No they are not. You would have to buy it full price (eeeee, like 5, 6 hundred dollars) from AT&T and unlock it which is (eee, another 50 at least) switch to cingular! I have the bold right now and couldn't be happier. Got it for only 299$

Q: Will my Blackberry Bold automatically select a WiFi network to browse the internet when one is available?
If there is both a 3G network as well as WiFi network available (and connected) will my Blackberry Bold preferentially connect to the internet via the WiFi connection? If so, is there a special set-up required?

A: If you set it to auto look. Personally, I think it is a pain, I would rather manually search when I want. Go to Network setting and you'll see it there.

Q: What's An Affordable Smart Phone Similar to the iPhone and Blackberry Bold?
I currently own a Samsung Synch on the AT&T Wireless network. While I would love either an iPhone or the new Blackberry Bold, the costs of the phones and the necessary data plans are beyond my means. I currently need something with internet access and email capabilities. I need to stay on the AT&T network. Any suggestions?

A: the iphone is like an investment, if you know how to take advantage of all the apps etc just get it

Q: How can I ensure a hidden email account on my Blackberry Bold remains hidden?
I have a few email accounts that I keep hidden sometimes on my Blackberry Bold. However, I have noticed that if an email arrives and you remove it from the holster the main mailbox opens up even though it was hidden before. The main mailbox is where all emails arrive. How can I ensure this doesn't ever occur?

A: You won't be able to, this is by default from RIM, unless someone customize its os, because there aren't any settings for this.

Q: when is the blackberry bold coming out on att?
I want the blackberry bold, but i have seen a lot of due dates, when is it coming out in att?

A: Best Buy is going to release it Oct 26th. Since Best Buy doesnt actually release the bold along with the AT&T stores, expect the Bold to be at your local AT&t store about 2 weeks prior to Best Buy's release.

Q: How long do you think it will take the blackberry bold to drop below $300?
Also, I am kind of confused. If I get the unlimited data plan, that includes the tv subscription only for blackberry bold right?

A: Of course this is a guess, but since the new 8900 Curve is on it's way soon, I would think by mid January the Bold will be below $300. That would be directly from AT&T. Q: How to put movies on blackberry bold?
I just got a blackberry bold, and i downloaded the software that game with it. Now i am wondering how do i put movies on the bold? Do i just copy the movie file into the software, or do i have to convert it to a smaller file? any help is appreciated.

A: Use media manager on your desktop software. Open media manager, Find movies on your hard drive, upload to device or storage card.

Q: Does anyone else have a problem with the BlackBerry Bold and the “3G” not working?
My BlackBerry Bold is nonfunctional on the 3G network. It displays “3g” when it doesn’t work, but “3G” when it does. The service is very unreliable! Formerly, I had to BlackBerry Curve, which was on “EDGE,” that worked perfectly fine. Does anyone have any suggestions? Should I just return it? Calls to AT&T “Customer Service” were unhelpful and a virtual waste of my time.

A: It's AT&T that are bad not the blackberry bold. change sim card to another provider e.g. vodafone.

Q: How much to upgrade to a Blackberry Bold on AT&T?
I currently have a Blackberry 8830, and want to upgrade to the Bold. My contract is upgradeable, so how much would this cost? Thanks

A: It will depend on how long you had your present phone. I have an iPhone and want to upgrade to the Bold but am going to wait until it is cheaper. Probably after the new year.

A: Expected release date is October 3rd and prices are going to be $499 after $100 rebate. They will be distributed by all AT&T stores, not just corporate

Q: Which phone is better for someone coming from an Hp8125 smartphone-the Blackberry Bold or iPhone?
I trying to figure out which one is better for me-the iphone or the Blackberry Bold.

A: The Blackberry Bold. Blackberry has the lowest return rate of any manufacturer on the market. With the Bold you'll get true MMS without having to purchase additional software. You can also access the battery yourself rather than sending it away. I'm not saying the iphone isn't cool, but if you're looking for cool plus function, the Bold is the winner.

Q: Does anyone know if there is going to be any extra monthly charge with the blackberry bold?
Like the iPhone requires an extra monthy charge... Does anyone know if the Blackberry Bold is gonna be like that?

A: Nothing been announced yet, but i don't think anything should change. Plan prices should remain the same. The reason theres an extra $10 charge is because the Iphone now supports 3g, whereas the older version only used edge. If you look on the ATT website, you'll see that the data prices for all their 3g capable phones are also $30.

Q: Should I get the Blackberry Bold now or should I wait for the Storm?
I am about to buy the Blackberry Bold now but I heard that the Blackberry Storm/Thunder will come out. Should I wait for it or get the Bold? I live in the US but I am here in the Philippines for about 7 years now. Can you tell me the pros and cons between the two? thanks a lot. oh yeah... what are locked and unlocked cellphones?

A: A locked phone is where the phone is locked to a certain type of sim card for example orange, t-mobile. And an unlocked phone can be used with any sim card. You can get your phone unlocked in most phone market stores, for about £5 around that. I'm going to get the blackberry bold now as I've read so many reviews on it and can honestly say I absolutely love the sound of it :)

Q: Is there a music visualizer for the Blackberry Bold?
Is there a music visualizer for the bold, or for any blackberry period? I havent been able to find any yet.

A: no there isnt

Q: Where can I get themes for the Blackberry Bold?
Where can I get themes for the Blackberry Bold or at least themes that will work on it that are mostly used for other models?
